John held a variety of technology sales and marketing positions during his career. Prior to joining Opus Faveo John was Senior Vice President of Business Sales for Sprint (now T-Mobile) where he led a team of over 3,000 global sales professionals and generated annual revenues in excess of $13 billion. John held various other officer positions at Sprint including Vice President of Marketing for Sprint Business. Before joining Sprint in 1998 John served as Vice President, Sales for Muratec, the US subsidiary of Murata Machinery Limited in Japan, and he was Executive Director of the Society of International Business Fellows, a professional association of senior executives interested and active in global business affairs.
John is a graduate of Vanderbilt University, Oxford University where he studied as a Rhodes Scholar, and The Fletcher School at Tufts University. He serves on the board of Social Venture Partners Dallas and also advises several investor groups and university tech transfer offices.
